Cockroaches have got into my accommodation

Cockroaches are often linked to favourable conditions such as humidity, heat and access to food. They can come from the apartment or from the building’s common areas. It is important to act quickly to prevent them from spreading.

1. Information to send us

If you notice cockroaches, please report the following via the "Report an incident" form:

Have you identified any cracks, holes or possible entry points (skirting boards, walls, floor, bath, under the sink, etc.)?

  • If yes, please send us photos and indicate whether you have tried to seal them.

This information is essential to determine whether a targeted or collective intervention is needed.

2. Immediate measures to take

As cockroaches are attracted by food and moisture, we ask you to:

  • Ventilate damp rooms well (kitchen, bathroom, toilet)
  • Take out the bins very regularly (at least every 48 hours)
  • Clean floors and surfaces regularly (no crumbs)
  • Do not leave any food uncovered
  • Store all food in airtight containers

3. Prevention

In addition, you can:

  • Temporarily seal any cracks or holes identified while waiting for a permanent fix
  • Clean and dry areas that tend to be damp (under the sink, around the dishwasher, behind appliances)
  • Use anti-cockroach products (gel, traps or baits available in supermarkets)

4. If the problem persists

If cockroaches are still present despite these measures, please contact our technical team and send us:

  • The measures already taken
  • Photos of the areas concerned
  • The information listed above

We can then arrange an appropriate intervention (targeted treatment or action via the building management) as soon as possible.

If the problem persists

Please fill in our incident report form and attach a photo or short video: Report an incident Our technical team will respond quickly if needed.
