Panel components:
- Main circuit breaker: supplies the whole apartment (ON/OFF).
- Secondary breakers: each circuit (sockets, lighting, kitchen, etc.).
Case 1: cut in the whole building
If your neighbours also have no electricity: check with them; otherwise report to our team so we can contact the building manager or network operator.
Case 2: cut in the whole apartment
Often due to overload or a faulty appliance.
- Set all secondary breakers to OFF, main breaker to ON.
- Switch the secondary breakers back on one by one.
- If the power cuts again, you will identify the area concerned.
- Switch off and unplug all appliances in that area, then reset the breaker.
- If the cut happens again, an appliance or socket is probably faulty. Unplug appliances one by one to find the cause and stop using it.
Case 3: partial cut (one room or one appliance)
- Switch off and unplug all appliances in the area. Leave the local breaker on OFF.
- Plug appliances back in one by one and reset the breaker to identify which one causes the cut.
- Once the appliance is identified, unplug it and stop using it.
Note: The problem may be a faulty socket. Test the appliance on another socket: if the cut happens again, the appliance is at fault; otherwise the socket may be faulty.
